About the Owner

Laurel & Dove Vintage was created by Lauren Morris, an American living in England. Inspired by her own personal love story, Laurel & Dove is a physical manifestation of Lauren's desire to create connection.

"The most frustrating thing for me is seeing a rare find that is absolutely fantastic just sitting on a shelf waiting for its new owner to find it, and I just know that someone out in the world is desperately searching for that exact item, and if I leave it on that shelf, they will never ever be connected.

As a wife who spent over two years physically separated from her husband... I'm a huge fan of eliminating the distance between you and the things you love. (Long distance couples call it "closing the gap.")

I believe that the universe conspires to bring things together, and I thrive on being a part of that process. I believe that each unwanted item already has a new owner, they just haven't found each other yet. I'm here to facilitate that union.

The name Laurel & Dove was inspired by Lauren's own name, meaning "laurel," and her husband's name, meaning "dove."

Laurel symbolizes triumph - a fitting herald for their successful union after two years of long-distance; the Dove symbolizes peace - a perfect reflection of the peace they now feel, together at last. 

At Laurel & Dove Vintage, we aim to enrich lives by curating objects that not only decorate a space but also deepen the connections within it. We hope our pieces can play a part in creating stories as meaningful as the union that inspired our name.
