Blue & White Floral Antique Sponge Holder Bowl

Believed to be an antique sponge bowl, likely part of a wash set with jug and basin. Similar pieces have been advertised as soap dishes, strainers, potpourri holders, and vases (the lid serving as a flower frog) Very versatile piece for modern times - get creative with it. Unmarked, but looks to be genuine 19th century.

A hairline crack showing on both the inside and outside, but doesn't seem to affect the structure. Lots of crazing and "tea stains" throughout, some chips on the handles. Study photos for condition details.
