Dot-Painted Bright Floral Lustre Serving Dish, Royal Winton

A very rare and unique style of serving dish featuring a raised floral motif along the interior edge. The blue, orange, and yellow accents were painted on with a "dotting" technique that allowed the paint to remain raised, like braille. The entire piece was then finished in an iridescent lustre glaze. Marked "Royal Winton Grimwades, England." Vintage c. 1930s.
