Dutch Turquoise & Gilt Miniature Genie Matchstick Holder

Such a fun and unique little piece! This tiny little creamer cup has a lovely turquoise colour with golden gilt accents along the rim and handle. There is a wet ripple effect in the paint as well. The pointed spout, curled accents at the handle, and sharp edge along the belly give this piece a really unique "genie bottle" look.

Designed as a creamer jug but would also be suitable as a vase or matchstick holder. Marked "Made in Holland." Vintage c. mid-century.

Signs of life include a small chip on the edge of the spout and the edge of the bottom rim. Also some wearing away of the gilt paint.
