Portuguese Hand-Thrown Floral Terracotta Casserole Dish

A fabulous hand-crafted terracotta dish of impressive size. Features thick walls, sturdy handles, and a hefty lid. The colourful floral motif has engraved line accents, all done by hand. Marked on the bottom "Olaria S. Jose, Corval Portugal." Dated as well, vintage c. 1997.

Measures 26cm in diameter (not including handles) and roughly 22cm tall (including lid handle). Very large and quite heavy - a wonderful piece of serveware that will look impressive in any tablescape. ***Placing on hot surfaces is not recommended.
