Handmade Earthenware Drizzle Jugs, Set of Two

In the style of slipware, these wonderful hand-painted jugs feature a dark blue and green "drizzle" effect atop a creamy base. They are made from terracotta with sturdy handles and pinched spouts. Likely from southern Europe (Spain, Italy, or Portugal) and vintage c. mid to late 20th century.

Each jug measures 19cm tall, 15cm handle to spout, and roughly 13cm diameter at the bellies.
