Miniature Golden Paintings by Roger John Chattaway - Set of Two

A wonderful pair of miniature paintings, unique in their all-over golden surfaces. They look to be oils on boards in small plastic frames - wonderful tiny details when observed closely. They are titled Tree's On Mountain and Man By Water. Signed by Roger John Chattaway, dated 1973.

They each measure 9.5 x 12cm.

Signs of life include minimal wear on the frames and a little loosening of the backs. If pulled, they will lift pretty easily, but if they are just being hung by the hooks, they stay in place. These are very small and lightweight so hanging should be a breeze.
